My name is Amanda Burridge. My pronouns are she/her. I live and work in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire.

I offer adult counselling from 16+.

My important qualifications are:

BA (Hons) Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy 2022.

Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling 2019.

I am very pleased to offer private counselling in lovely garden surroundings. I have a confidential garden therapy room at the ‘top’ of my garden, perfect for face to face counselling.

My room is peaceful and safe from interruption and because it is not shared by other therapists, I can have my creative tools available at all times; such as pebbles and nesting dolls.

My venue is tranquil and not overlooked and you can hear and see the wild birds. You can be assured that you won’t be overheard, interrupted or pass other clients in the waiting room.

If you need to consider access and walking, I can send you a video of the route to the room. If going up shallow steps is impossible, I can make home visits. Home visits are offered in the same way and I can bring therapy to you. I will support you to gain the same therapeutic benefits in your own home.

I have good parking both at the venue and a free public car park nearby. A visitors toilet is located outside, to protect your confidentiality from my home.

If you have been given a lift, Sawtry has benefited from the new Moto service station with a range of cafes and shops for your driver to wait. I am on the bus route from Huntingdon to Peterborough. You are welcome to bring a coffee with you if you have stopped and bought one from there.

Online counselling or telephone counselling is also available to support you. For when travelling is not always an option.

I am very happy outdoors in nature, so you may wish to consider holding your face to face therapy outdoors!
